Job summary

ASR Group is seeking an Operations Lead to support the Shift Supervisor in bulk packaging production, ensuring proper machine setup, material staging, and startup tasks. This role provides real-time floor leadership, coordinating teams, driving KPI results, and upholding safety and quality across all lines.

You will monitor performance, target OEE improvements, minimize downtime, and adapt to weekend/holiday overtime as needed to keep production on track.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in production line operations and/or maintenance.
• Ability to adapt to change and respond to operational challenges.
• Working knowledge of Redzone KPI systems, PLC-based reporting, and MS Office.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in operational and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Support the full production floor across all packaging lines and coordinate shift flow.
• Serve as the primary operational lead for production execution, safety and quality compliance, and KPI reporting.
• Monitor real-time production performance and drive output, OEE, downtime reduction and targets.
• Coordinate startup and shutdown activities, material staging, and machine setup.
• Assist supervisors with labor allocation, staffing coverage and workload distribution.
• Train, qualify, and coach employees on performance, process adherence, and safety.
• Lead shift huddles, ensure accurate reporting and downtime tracking, and maintain line status.
• Promote food safety, GMP, CCP, sanitation, and quality standards.
• Provide frontline troubleshooting and coordinate with Maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Operate equipment as needed and cover lines during staffing gaps.
• Communicate directions between floor and supervision and support handoffs.
