Job summary

Butterball is seeking a Production Assistant in Missouri to support daily production goals in our plant. The role assists the Supervisor, follows assigned duties, and helps set up equipment for on-time runs.

Candidates must be 18+, able to pass background checks and a pre-employment physical, and be willing to work overtime, weekends, and holidays. The position requires standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and adherence to safety and GMP policies.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Must pass background check, drug screen and pre-employment physical.
• Able to perform basic math and typing.
• Willing to work overtime and flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Follow direction of Production Supervisor to assign and instruct personnel of daily production duties.
• Observe equipment operation and notify appropriate personnel of malfunctions and/or safety issues/concerns.
• Provide accurate and timely feedback to supervisor regarding any issues or problems that may arise during daily production.
• Assist in daily equipment setup to ensure the line is prepared to run on time.
• Complete required checks and measurements, record accurately.
• Assist in training and developing staff to ensure a quality product.
• Assist with new hire ergonomic evaluations and performance evaluations.
• Position is required to work before department start time in order to assist with area set-ups.
• Accountable to maintain punctual and regular attendance for scheduled work hours.
• Flexible to work weekends, overtime, and holidays as needed.
