Job summary

Butterball is seeking an on-site Production Support role in North Carolina to help the Supervisor manage daily production tasks, coordinate equipment set-up, and train staff. This position requires flexibility for overtime and weekend work, and it emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork in a fast-paced food processing plant.

Ideal candidates are 18+, able to pass background/drug tests, capable of basic math and typing, and willing to work in damp/cold environments with protective gear.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Must pass a background check, drug screen and pre-employment physical.
• Must be able to use basic math and typing skills.
• Must be willing to work overtime and flexible shifts as required.

Responsibilities

• Follows direction of Production Supervisor to assign and instruct personnel of daily production duties.
• Observes equipment operation, notifying appropriate personnel of malfunctions and safety concerns.
• Provide accurate and timely feedback to supervisor regarding issues during production.
• Helps coordinate daily set-up of equipment to ensure the line is prepared to run on time.
• Complete required checks and measurements, record accurately.
• Assist in training and developing staff to ensure a quality product.
• Assist with new hire ergonomic evaluations and performance evaluations.
• Position is required to work before department start time to assist with area set-ups.
• Maintain punctual and regular attendance for scheduled work hours.
• Flexible to work weekends, overtime, and holidays as needed.
