Job summary

Champion Foods LLC is seeking a Production Lead to support supervision of the production workforce and maximize yields while guiding operations, quality initiatives and food safety. You will provide technical leadership on equipment and assist team members with complex tasks, potentially directing up to 25 colleagues in a working lead role.

Ideal candidates bring manufacturing experience, GMP/HACCP and regulatory knowledge, strong communication, and mentoring skills, plus proficiency in MS

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or related industry.
• Knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, FDA/USDA/OSHA requirements.
• Ability to mentor and train others.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with RedZone, Oracle, and other platforms.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to complete leadership training within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production line performance and make improvements to meet schedules and quality standards.
• Create production line schedules and direct workflow for assigned lines.
• Ensure safety and food safety handling procedures are followed by colleagues.
• Train new production staff and ensure understanding of machine functions and safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with regulators; investigate and document issues; report to management.
