Job summary

Quaker Windows & Doors in Eldon, MO is seeking a Production Lead to set up the production department and guide a team to efficiently build orders. You will train staff, manage materials, and ensure safety and quality across the line, while aligning with daily priorities and production targets.

You will communicate with supervisors and other departments, monitor performance metrics, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–2 years manufacturing experience.
• Experience as Production Assistant or leadership role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and manage the production line for each daily schedule.
• Order material including glass, order repairs and view Bill of Materials.
• Track orders and replacement orders, manage backlog, communicate priorities and how repairs are handled.
• Plan ahead, know what job is coming up next and have materials ready.
• Understand operation of all necessary tools and machinery in the department and initiate a resolution of any equipment issues that arise.
• Indirect supervision of all production staff in the department, support employee engagement.
