Job summary

Quaker Windows & Doors is seeking a Production Lead to set up and manage the production department, leading staff to build orders on the 2nd shift. The role requires effective communication, training, and adherence to safety and quality standards to meet daily production targets.

You will supervise a team, coordinate materials, and drive continuous improvement using lean practices while maintaining strong attendance and on-time delivery of orders.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 1-2 years manufacturing experience.
• Experience as a Production Assistant or equivalent leadership role preferred.
• Familiarity with the production line and Quaker terminology is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Set up and manage the production line for each daily schedule.
• Order material including glass, order repairs and view Bill of Materials.
• Track orders and backlog, communicate priorities and how repairs are handled.
• Plan ahead and have materials ready for upcoming jobs.
• Ensure staff follow safety and quality requirements and maintain attendance.
