Job summary

Durex Products, a Gerard Daniel Worldwide Company, seeks a Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing activities, ensure safety, quality, and efficiency, and drive continuous improvement. You’ll coordinate staffing, schedules, and cross-functional collaboration with Plant Management to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Business, or related field.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing experience.
• Supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Knowledge of production processes, quality, safety.
• Lean Manufacturing and 5S knowledge.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and development skills.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and ERP/CRM systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Establish daily work assignments and staffing priorities to support production planning.
• Monitor capacity and identify bottlenecks affecting productivity.
• Define and ensure clear employee responsibilities.
• Participate in interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and evaluations.
• Maintain communication to promote teamwork and morale.
• Measure and report production metrics (productivity, downtime, quality, schedule attainment).
• Analyze performance shortfalls and implement corrective actions.
• Supervise daily production to meet schedules and customer requirements.
• Direct and support safe, efficient, quality-focused operations.
• Ensure compliance with work instructions, quality standards, safety policies.
• Train and develop employees to improve performance.
• Monitor attendance, staffing, and overtime.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, Warehouse, Production Management.
• Support 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Complete and maintain production records and documentation.
• Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts.
• Ensure materials are available to support manufacturing.
• Complete required reports and administrative tasks.
