Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America in Sparks, NV seeks an Assistant Production Manager to lead day shift assembly, drive safety, quality, and on-time delivery, and execute manufacturing strategy.

You will mentor teams, apply Lean Six Sigma methods, coordinate with cross-functional groups, and support a high-volume lithium-ion battery production environment with a focus on continuous improvement.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business or equivalent manufacturing management experience.
• 3+ years of experience in a high speed/high volume manufacturing setting.
• Lean Six Sigma and continuous process improvement experience.
• ERP transactional experience.
• 5S experience.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead production teams to meet manufacturing KPI’s.
• Empower, develop, and reward individuals and teams for performance and growth.
• Ensure resources are used to sustain safe manufacturing and distribution excellence.
• Drive ongoing improvements in production efficiency applying Lean principles.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet customer and company goals.
• Attend management meetings and provide input on production goals status.
