Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America is seeking an Assistant Production Manager for the Night Shift in Sparks, NV. You will own the management of assigned production line(s), lead teams, and drive goals in quality, cost, and delivery through Lean principles and continuous improvement.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business, 3+ years in high-speed manufacturing, Lean Six Sigma, ERP experience, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business or equivalent manufacturing management experience.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a high speed/high volume manufacturing setting.
• Experience with Lean Six Sigma and continuous process improvement.
• ERP transactional experience.
• 5S experience.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage functional production teams to meet manufacturing KPI’s.
• Empower, develop, and reward individuals and teams for performance and growth.
• Ensure resources are used to sustain safe manufacturing and distribution excellence.
• Lead ongoing improvements in production efficiency using Lean principles.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet customer and company goals.
• Attend management meetings and provide input on production status.
