Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a leadership position (team lead, team captain, supervisor, shift lead, etc.).
• Minimum 5 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to team leaders and front‑line hourly production team members; ensure a safe work environment, define expectations, provide resources, coach/teach/train associates, ensure accountability, and provide feedback.
• Develop, implement, and audit daily standard work.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement; conduct root cause analysis and develop/implement corrective action plans.
• Maintain production schedule, meeting both quality and productivity requirements.
• Maintain good inventory control procedures for all raw material that may be required in assignment department(s).
• Partner with supply chain, quality, shipping, and other departments to ensure the team meets production targets safely, on time, and to established quality standards.
