Schaeffler is seeking a production supervisor to lead daily manufacturing activities, ensuring products meet requirements and driving KPI results at our U.S. facility near Florence, SC.

You will prioritize weekly production schedules, guide teams, oversee training, safety, and continuous improvements in QCD, and use dashboards to review performance. This role offers opportunities to grow within a global technology company.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer a 2-year technical degree.
• OTJ experience with Schaeffler may be considered.
• 3-5 years of manufacturing experience.
• Experience as a multi skilled operator in area of responsibility.
• Knowledge of production processes, measurement/inspection, planning & control, MS-Office and SAP.
• Ability to work with others, collaborate and persuade to accomplish work.
• Familiar with computer programs and strong communication to resolve conflicts.

Aufgaben

• Lead production to meet requirements and KPIs.
• Determine manufacturing priorities for weekly schedules and assign work.
• Direct personnel actions including training, performance appraisal and safety.
• Oversee equipment setup, maintenance and checks.
• Establish and refine procedures to improve QCD.
• Promote a safe work environment and safe work habits.
• Create a motivating atmosphere with open communication and engagement.
• Support PL in communicating goals and KPIs to the workforce.
• Take ownership for team performance and accountability.
• Monitor and review KPI goals and provide weekly feedback.
• Use dashboards for KPI feedback and performance reviews.
• Meet regularly to review performance and address issues with the PL.
