Job summary

Maker's Pride in Bolingbrook, IL is seeking a Production Lead I/II to oversee pre-op and teardown on assigned shifts and coordinate lines setup. You will review production issues, schedule orders, and ensure product specifications are met.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, able to train staff, assign stations, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining safety and accurate records. Flexible schedule and weekend/overtime required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 3–6 months related experience or training; ability to work independently yet be flexible and team-oriented.
• Ability to read, interpret and follow safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and production reports.

Responsibilities

• Oversee pre-op and teardown per shift and coordinate lines setup.
• Review production issues, production schedule orders and product specifications.
• Work with other departments to prevent downtime and lead continuous plant-wide improvement.
• Assign staff to work stations; provide associate training as needed.
• Recommend corrective actions for non-compliance to supervisor; ensure documentation and legible records (lot tracking, waste, quality checks, etc.).
• Read and interpret safety rules and production reports; cross-train in all lead areas; maintain safe work practices.
• On the floor 95% of shift; must work a flexible schedule; other duties as assigned.
