Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Louisiana is seeking a Production Lead to support daily store operations and oversee production performance to meet budget targets. The role includes supervising staff when assigned by Store/Production Manager and acting in a supervisory capacity during scheduled hours.

The successful candidate will drive production goals (110 garments per hour minimum with 90% quality), ensure donations are processed for floor placement, and uphold a clean, safe store

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED and 6 months supervisory experience.
• Must read, write and communicate clearly in English.
• Prior work experience in the service industry preferred.
• Retail training completion required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store operation and production performance to meet budget.
• Perform duties of a supervisor when assigned by Store Manager or Production Manager.
• Reach production goal guidelines (minimum of 110 garments per hour with a minimum quality standard of 90%).
• Ensure proper production of donations get processed and ready to put on the store floor.
• Act as a positive role model for employees and trainees in all aspects of professional performance.
• Maintain safe and appropriate conditions in the back-room area.
• Keep the store clean and hazard free by vacuuming, mopping and dusting, including bathrooms.
• Observe personnel and safety policies to ensure compliance by Production Associates.
• Attend work on regularly scheduled shifts as assigned by the manager for the week.
