Fire Dept Cannabis in Portland, OR is seeking a Pre-Roll Production Lead with cannabis and leadership experience to oversee our Pre-roll Team, manage daily manufacturing operations, ensure quality control, and uphold OLCC compliance.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Pay: $21-23 per hour

About Us

We are a Portland-based cannabis company distributing to 300+ dispensaries across the state of Oregon. We produce a wide line of high-quality products including edibles (cookies, rice crispy treats, gummies), kief, extracts, and a full line of pre-rolls (infused, single units, multipacks, and hemp-wrapped blunts), with new innovations launching regularly.

We are seeking a positive, motivated Pre-Roll Production Lead with both cannabis and leadership experience to oversee our Pre-roll Team. In this role, you will lead daily manufacturing operations, ensure strict quality control, train team members on standard operating procedures (SOPs), and maintain OLCC compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Train production staff on all processes (e.g., sorting pre-rolls, packaging products), ensure staff are signed off on SOPs, delegate tasks efficiently, and provide ongoing feedback and coaching.

• Routinely monitor team processes and conduct regular quality checks on pre-rolls and final packaged goods.

• Audit packaging and production supplies, record entries in the packaging log, and assist with raw material intake by verifying weights and storing inventory in designated bays.

• Ensure full adherence to safety, sanitation, and OLCC compliance standards, adapting quickly to process changes as directed by management.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

• 1+ years of supervisory or team lead experience required.

• Prior experience working in the cannabis industry required.

• Active Oregon Marijuana Worker Permit (required prior to start date).

• Must be 21 years of age or older per state regulations.

• Strong verbal and written communication in English, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment.

• Proven track record of adapting to changing processes and priorities without notice
