Job summary

The Pivot Group Network is partnering with Allegan manufacturing firms to identify a skilled Production Lead. This role focuses on overseeing daily production, mentoring operators, and ensuring safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years in manufacturing with supervisory exposure, strong problem-solving abilities, and experience with MES/ERP systems. Opportunities exist within a network serving West Michigan manufacturers.

Qualifications

Minimum 3+ years in a manufacturing production environment with at least 1 year in a lead/supervisory role.
Ability to read, interpret, and apply production schedules, blueprints and quality specs.
Experience with MES/ERP systems and quality control processes.
Strong communication and cross-functional leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily production activities to ensure efficiency and quality.
Lead and mentor a team of production operators, promoting skill development and morale.
Implement and enforce safety protocols and quality standards.
Monitor production schedules and adjust staffing/workflows to meet targets.
Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and coordinate with maintenance.
Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes.
Maintain accurate records of production data, inventory, and labor hours.
