Job summary

The Pivot Group Network, a West Michigan manufacturing-focused recruiting partner, is partnering with Newaygo-based companies seeking a Production Lead to supervise production personnel and ensure schedules are met with quality standards.

Ideal candidates will mentor teams, enforce safety protocols, and drive continuous improvement using MES and production management software, while collaborating with other departments to resolve issues and optimize processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing production with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve production targets and quality standards.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across levels.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of production personnel.
• Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining quality standards.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and company policies.
• Train and mentor team members on manufacturing processes and equipment operation.
• Monitor production output, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions.
