Job summary

The Bernard Group, Inc. is seeking a Production Lead for our Machine Room in Chanhassen, MN. You will mentor teammates across bindery, fabrication, cutting or kitting, teaching efficient machine setup and process flow while ensuring quality checks before shipment.

Responsibilities include coaching staff, supporting safety, and communicating with supervisors to align production with customer needs. Strong communication and reliability are essential, with shift work in the evenings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Preferred 3 years experience in CNC routing.
• OSHA 10 Hour certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and coach employees in the specific area of responsibility (bindery, fabricating, cutting, or kitting).
• Train new and existing employees on efficient machine setup and process flow.
• Provide feedback to the manager on team learning and performance.
• Complete applicable work on the job ticket and adhere to job requirements.
• Perform last quality check before shipment and ensure customer specifications are met.
