Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Louisiana is seeking a Production Lead to assist with daily store operations and production performance to meet budget targets while complying with company standards. The role acts as a supervisor when assigned by the Store Manager or Production Manager and may function in a supervisory capacity during scheduled hours.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED and 6 months supervisory experience, or a minimum of 90 days in the service industry.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate clearly in English.
• Prior work experience in the service industry preferred.
• Must successfully complete Retail training.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store operation and production performance to meet or exceed budget.
• Reach production goal guidelines (minimum 110 garments per hour with 90% quality).
• Ensure donations are properly processed and ready for the store floor.
• Model positive professional behavior for employees and trainees.
• Maintain safety and appropriate conditions in back-room area.
• Keep the store clean and hazard-free including bathrooms.
• Observe personnel and safety policies to ensure compliance by Production Associates.
• Attend scheduled shifts as assigned by management.

• Tokeepthestorecleanandhazardfreebyvacuuming,moppinganddusting, (including cleaning the bathrooms.)

Requirements

• HighSchooldiplomaorGEDand6monthssupervisoryexperienceoraminimumof 90 days in the service industry.
• Mustbeabletoread,writeandcommunicateclearlyinEnglish.
• Priorworkexperienceintheserviceindustrypreferred.
• MustsuccessfullycompleteRetailtraining.

Working Conditions

Frequent physical exertion, frequent movement, conditioned indoor temperatures with occasional exposure to outdoor temperatures and weather conditions. Alternate work schedule may include working at an attended donation center with no prior notice.
