Job summary

Aptiv Interconnect in Garden Grove, CA, is seeking a Production Lead to be a hands-on supervisor on the manufacturing floor, guiding a team of assemblers to meet critical production schedules and maintain AS9100 quality.

You will coordinate daily workflow, assign tasks by skill, mentor staff, and partner with the Production Supervisor, Quality, and Engineering to drive Get Stuff Done while upholding safety and FOD/5S standards.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years in complex cable harness assembly within aerospace/defense/high-reliability environments.
• 1-2+ years in a leadership role with mentorship experience.
• Expert-level ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of assemblers, fostering safety, quality, and accountability.
• Coordinate daily workflow and assign tasks by production schedule and skills.
• Serve as frontline technical expert on drawings, procedures, and techniques.
• Ensure compliance with AS9100 quality standards and ITAR regulations.
• Lead daily team huddles to review goals, safety, and quality, and escalate roadblocks.
