Dessert Holdings is seeking a Production Lead for the Aurora, CO site to oversee safe, quality dessert manufacturing on a 3:00PM–3:00AM shift. Starting wage is $20.60/hr. You will ensure SQF/HACCP/GMP compliance and manage line staffing, training, and shift handoffs.

The role requires leading teams of 10–40 employees, maintaining production metrics, and driving continuous improvement while upholding food safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment and/or leadership role.
• Ability to read, write, and complete production documentation in English or Spanish.
• Basic math skills and proficiency with batch sheets, formulas, and specifications.
• Basic equipment knowledge including operation and first-level troubleshooting.

Responsabilités

• Enforce safety rules, PPE, machine guarding, and LOTO; perform start-of-shift checks.
• Stop production and escalate safety hazards; notify supervision of abnormalities.
• Report incidents, near-misses, and hazards; track maintenance requests.
• Coach and train employees on safe work practices; document safety training.
• Ensure compliance with SQF, HACCP, GMP, allergens, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
• Maintain production records and verify weights, temperatures, labels, lot codes.
