Under the direction of the Production Manager and/or Production Supervisor, the Production Lead is responsible for performing production assignments to assist in achieving performance targets for the Fresh Dough Facility. This role will support the management team in running production shifts efficiently. Hours and days off may vary; availability for holidays and weekends is required.

Responsibilities

• Run production shifts efficiently, ensuring the team stays on schedule.
• Adjust batches and schedules for late add-ons as needed.
• Ensure associates follow formulas, schedules, and documentation.
• Identify and resolve equipment issues during shifts.
• Notify management of personnel issues.
• Coordinate responsibilities for production associates.
• Operate all production equipment and maintain an organized workspace.
• Conduct self-audits and support corrective actions.
• Enforce process controls, GMP, Panera Standards, and Safety Standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Manager or Supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-4 years of experience in a similar role within the food industry (preferred).
• Ability to perform physical tasks and work at a steady, quick pace.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Bi-lingual skills (preferred).

Working Conditions

0% travel required.

Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk 100% of the time; sit up to 5%.
• Lift/carry up to 52 lbs., handle bulky objects, pinch with minimum 5 lbs., grasp with minimum 35 lbs.
• Full range of motion required for back and fingers.
• Work environment includes noise, moving mechanical parts, steps, handrails, narrow access, and concrete floors.
