Job description

Manufacturing Coordinator - C shift (7pm-7am)

Basic Position Duties: This position supports the molding and assembly manufacturing departments by supervising leaders, setups, and operators. It oversees daily activities and reporting, responds to safety, quality, productivity issues, and abnormal situations. The coordinator collaborates with departments such as QA, production control, maintenance, and engineering.

  1. Ensure a safe work environment.
  2. Manage personnel records, including absence, attendance, corrective actions, compliance audits, and documentation acknowledgements.
  3. Initiate associate status changes and SARS submissions.
  4. Manage production records, including manufacturing setup/check sheets, 3S/3D/5S activities, backtracks, abnormals, CTR documentation, and rainbow activities.
  5. Ensure accurate data entry for reports like daily reports, TPS redlight reports, setup reports, and scrap reports.
  6. Control production floor operations, conduct shift meetings, understand work centers, production plans, and shop orders.
  7. Utilize resources effectively to carry out production plans.
  8. Monitor warehouse, JIT, and kanban operations to ensure product flow and support product disposition in OZ areas.
  9. Maintain effective shift-to-shift communication daily.
  10. Make quick, accurate decisions and guide associates to maintain safety, quality, and productivity.
  11. Monitor production floor cleanliness and safety in designated areas.
  12. Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

  • High school diploma, GED, or technical certificate with 1-3 years of experience in hourly plant operations.
  • Leadership experience is preferred but not required.
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook are preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to complete EMS Response training.
  • Valid forklift license required.
