Production Lead on Second Shift

Location: Lebanon, Indiana

Employment Type: Full Time

Shift: 2nd Shift: Roughly 2:00 PM - 12:30 AM, Monday through Thursday.

Job Overview

The Production Lead is responsible for assisting the Manufacturing Leader with the overall operation of the production lines on 2nd shift, ensuring compliance with all operating standards. Ideal candidates will have excellent communication skills in English and Spanish, with a strong desire to grow and succeed within the company. Bilingual candidates are highly preferred.

Job Responsibilities

1. Assist in ensuring the efficient operation of cereal and snack mix lines to meet productivity and quality goals.
2. Coordinate production activities and assist in assigning tasks to team members.
3. Conduct regular audits of QA documentation for accuracy and completeness.
4. Monitor equipment downtime, document reasons, and collaborate with operators and maintenance to resolve issues.
5. Enforce plant GMPs and address violations appropriately.
6. Facilitate effective communication across all shifts.
7. Report safety, quality, and productivity issues promptly.
8. Complete required documentation and assist in reporting shift performance.
9. Support continuous improvement initiatives alongside the Manufacturing Leader.

Qualifications

• Spanish speaking skills are highly preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Food production experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Effective communication skills with team members and management.
• Experience with Google Drive and spreadsheets is a plus.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Basic math skills and proficiency in English.
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and goal-driven.
