Wells in Monroeville, AL seeks a Production Laborer to support daily manufacturing operations by stripping, setting up, and pouring beds safely and efficiently. You will work with Quality Control to maintain product quality and adhere to Lean initiatives.

Ideal candidates are dependable, safety-minded, adaptable, with basic measurement skills and a strong work ethic. You must be able to lift, stand for long shifts, and collaborate across departments in a fast-paced plant environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Interpersonal communication skills with coworkers and supervisors.
• Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently.
• Basic math and tape measure reading.
• Able to work in teams and independently as needed.
• Understanding of the products used by the company.
• Willingness to adapt to changes to become Best in Class.

Responsibilities

• Strip, set up, and pour beds in a timely and efficient manner.
• Collaborate with Quality Control to ensure product quality.
• Follow directions from Team Leader and Supervisor.
• Be flexible to work in Production, Yard, Patching, and other departments as needed.
• Maintain a safe work environment and housekeeping practices.
• Participate in Lean Manufacturing initiatives to improve efficiency.
• Follow established quality programs and produce high-quality work.
• Maintain professional attitude and strong attendance across departments.
