Job summary

Wells in Texas is seeking a Production Laborer to support daily manufacturing operations by assisting with stripping, setting up, and pouring beds, while ensuring quality and safety. You’ll work with Quality Control and supervision, be flexible across Production, Yard, and Patching areas, and contribute to continuous improvement in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of experience in heavy industrial, construction, precast concrete, or related production environment.
• Must have interpersonal communication skills to interact with co-workers, supervisors, and managers.
• Must be able to solve problems quickly and efficiently.
• General math skills and the ability to read a tape measure.
• Ability to work with others to get the project completed efficiently and work independently when needed.
• Knowledge of the products the company uses, and which products would work best.
• Understand and accept changes that are implemented to become Best in Class.

Responsibilities

• Work with co-workers to strip, set up, and pour beds in a timely and efficient manner.
• Collaborate with the Quality Control Department to ensure optimal product quality.
• Follow directions from the Team Leader and Supervisor.
• Be flexible to work in all areas, including Production, Yard, Patching, and other departments as needed.
• Maintain a safe work environment and strong housekeeping practices at all times.
• Participate in Lean Manufacturing initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Follow established quality programs and consistently produce high-quality work.
• Maintain a professional attitude, strong attendance, and positive working relationships across all departments.
