Job summary

Livestock Nutrition Center LLC in Texas is seeking motivated Production Laborers to join our team. You will operate the mill, perform routine maintenance, and help ensure safety and quality in a fast-paced feed production environment.

This role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities to work with light equipment and a dedicated maintenance team. Candidates should be able to lift 50 lbs, withstand heat, and contribute to efficient, safe operations on site.

Qualifications

• Must be able to walk and stand for 10 hours daily.
• Able to repetitively lift 50 lbs.
• Forklift/skid steer experience preferred.
• Work in varying weather conditions, including dust and heat/cold.
• Maintain safe working environment and housekeeping.
• Weekend work possible in winter months.

Responsibilities

• Keep the mill and surrounding grounds clean.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks (daily/weekly/monthly).
• Assist in repairs and maintenance projects with staff/contractors.
• Help maximize mill and crew efficiency.
• Maintain inventory of macro and micro ingredients.
• Ensure ingredient quality meets standards.
• Safely operate equipment per training and OSHA standards.
• Follow all safety practices and complete other tasks as assigned.

We understand that management, performance objectives and feeding practices can be vastly different between operations, and that these differences dictate specific nutritional or formulation requirements. Our experienced sales staff and nutritionist will work with the Producer to design a feeding program that is specific to their operation.

Position Summary

Livestock Nutrition Center, a leading regional feed manufacturing company, is looking for motivated Production Laborers to join our team. We are currently hiring mill production operators, including light equipment operators, who can work with a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Ensure the mill is kept clean, including the grounds surrounding the mill.
• Ensure daily, weekly, monthly routine preventative maintenance tasks are completed.
• Assist in repair and maintenance projects with the maintenance staff and contractors, as well as fulfill Project Manager requests.
• Assist in maximizing efficiency of the mill and crew.
• Maintain inventory of macro and micro ingredients.
• Ensure quality of ingredients are of LNC standards.
• Safely and efficiently operate equipment, following proper training of all equipment.
• Ensure company safety practices are followed, along with OSHA standards.
• Perform any other related operational processes and tasks deemed necessary by local management.

Qualifications & Skills

• Ability to walk and stand for 10hours/day.
• Ability to repetitively lift 50 lbs.
• Forklift, Skid Steer, Front end loader experience preferred.
• Ability to work in varying weather and environmental conditions, including exposure to dust, extreme heat or cold.
