Job summary

Livestock Nutrition Center is seeking motivated Production Laborers to join our team. This role operates the mill, performs routine maintenance, and supports repairs with the maintenance team, with opportunities to learn equipment like forklifts and loaders.

Responsibilities include keeping the mill clean, maintaining ingredient inventories, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met in varying weather conditions. Heavy lifting and weekend work are possible during winter months.

Qualifications

• Must be able to walk and stand for 10 hours.
• Must be able to repeatedly lift 50 lbs.
• Forklift/Skid Steer/Front-end Loader experience preferred.
• Ability to work in varying weather and dusty conditions.
• Team environment with safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Keep the mill and surrounding grounds clean and orderly.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance tasks.
• Assist in repairs and projects with maintenance staff and contractors.
• Help maximize mill and crew efficiency.
• Maintain inventory of macro and micro ingredients.
• Ensure ingredients meet LNC standards and quality.
• Safely operate equipment per training and OSHA standards.
• Follow company safety practices and perform related tasks as needed.
