Job summary

Livestock Nutrition Center is seeking motivated Production Laborers to join our team in operating and maintaining the mill. You will keep facilities clean, assist with preventative maintenance, and support the crew to maximize efficiency while following safety and OSHA standards.

The role requires the ability to lift 50 lbs, work in varying weather, and occasionally weekend shifts in winter months. Prior FSMA familiarity is preferred, with comprehensive benefits for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Must be able to walk and stand for 10 hours per day.
• Able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Experience with forklift/skid steer/front end loader preferred.
• Able to work in varying weather and environmental conditions.
• Detail-oriented and safety-conscious.
• Able to work in a team setting.
• Some weekends required in winter months.
• Familiarity with FSMA standards related to feed production preferred.
• Maintains safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Keep the mill and surrounding grounds clean.
• Perform daily, weekly, monthly routine preventative maintenance tasks.
• Assist in repair and maintenance projects with maintenance staff and contractors, and fulfill Project Manager requests.
• Assist in maximizing efficiency of the mill and crew.
• Maintain inventory of macro and micro ingredients.
• Ensure quality of ingredients are to LNC standards.
• Safely and efficiently operate equipment, following training.
• Ensure company safety practices and OSHA standards are followed.
• Perform any other related operational processes and tasks deemed necessary by local management.
