Job summary

Livestock Nutrition Center is seeking motivated Processing Laborers to join our team in Texas. The role requires long shifts, lifting up to 50 lbs, and operating processing equipment safely. You will assist in maintenance, record-keeping, and batch management to support efficient mill operations.

Qualifications

• Must be able to walk and stand for long shift durations.
• Ability to repetitively lift up to 50 lbs.
• Familiarity with OSHA and safety practices in a processing environment.
• Forklift, Skid Steer, and front-end loader experience preferred.
• Team-oriented with attention to detail.
• Ability to work in varying weather and environmental conditions.

Responsibilities

• Keep the mill and surrounding grounds clean and orderly.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly routine preventive maintenance tasks.
• Assist in repair and maintenance projects with staff and contractors.
• Record production data and maintain batch records and logs.
• Help maximize mill and crew efficiency.
• Safely operate equipment after proper training and safety protocols.
• Identify potential hazards when assembling/disassembling processing equipment.
• Send batches to correct surge tanks to ensure proper densifier.
• Direct finished product to the correct bay in the Finished Product Barn.
• Perform basic housekeeping and keep the processing barn clean to minimize hazards.
• Fulfill other related tasks as assigned by local management.

Our experienced sales staff and nutritionist will work with the Producer to design a feeding program that is specific to their operation.Mission StatementOur Mission is to add value to the suppliers and end users in the feed ingredient supply chain through distribution, processing and service.Guiding PrincipleOur focus is to provide customized feeding programs, nutritional products, and expert service to livestock producers that promote their long-term success and profitability.Position SummaryLivestock Nutrition Center, a leading regional feed manufacturing company, is looking for motivated Processing Laborers to join our team.Responsibilities & DutiesEnsure the mill is kept clean, including the grounds surrounding the Mill.Ensure daily, weekly, monthly routine preventative maintenance tasks are completedAssist in repair and maintenance projects with the maintenance staff and contractors, as well as fulfill Project Manager requests.Record production data and maintain accurate documentation (batch records, machine logs, downtime reports)Assist in maximizing efficiency of the mill and crewSafely and efficiently operate equipment, following proper training of all equipment.Ensure company safety practices are followed, along with OSHA standardsMust be able to recognize potential hazards when assembling/disassembling Processing Barn Equipment, including densifiers and heat exchangers.Ability to send batches to correct surge tanks to ensure they go to the proper densifier.Ability to be able to send final product into proper bay in the Finished Product Barn.Ability to perform basic housekeeping duties including toolroom organization, maintaining cleanliness of break room, and keeping the Processing Barn as clean as possible to minimize hazards.Perform any other related operational processes and tasks deemed necessary by local management.Qualifications & SkillsAbility to walk and stand for 12 hours a day/night.Ability to repetitively lift 50 lbs.Forklift, Skid Steer, Front end loader experience preferred.Ability to work in varying weather and environmental conditions, including exposure to dust, extreme heat or cold.Maintain safe working environment.Attention to detail.Ability to work in a team setting.Familiarity with FSMA standards related to feed production preferred.Benefits and PerksAll full-time employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.
