Job summary

Livestock Nutrition Center LLC in Hereford, TX is seeking Production Laborers to join our milling team as operators of light equipment, with a flexible schedule. This role focuses on keeping the mill clean, supporting maintenance, and assisting with daily operations in a dynamic feed production environment.

You will help manage ingredient inventories, ensure safety practices, and contribute to quality standards under supervision.

Qualifications

• Must be able to walk and stand for long hours.
• Able to repetitively lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience with powered equipment (forklift/skid steer/front-end loader) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Keep the mill area clean and organized.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance tasks daily/weekly/monthly.
• Assist in repairs and projects with maintenance staff and contractors.
• Help maximize mill efficiency and crew productivity.
• Maintain inventory of macro and micro ingredients.
• Ensure ingredients meet quality standards and LNC specs.
• Safely operate equipment per training and OSHA standards.

Qualifications

Position Summary

Livestock Nutrition Center, a leading regional feed manufacturing company, is looking for motivated Production Laborers to join our team. We are currently hiring mill production operators, including light equipment operators, who can work with a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Ensure the mill is kept clean, including the grounds surrounding the mill.
• Ensure daily, weekly, monthly routine preventative maintenance tasks are completed.
• Assist in repair and maintenance projects with the maintenance staff and contractors, as well as fulfill Project Manager requests.
• Assist in maximizing efficiency of the mill and crew.
• Maintain inventory of macro and micro ingredients.
• Ensure quality of ingredients are of LNC standards.
• Safely and efficiently operate equipment, following proper training of all equipment.
• Ensure company safety practices are followed, along with OSHA standards.
• Perform any other related operational processes and tasks deemed necessary by local management.
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Ability to walk and stand for 10hours/day.
• Ability to repetitively lift 50 lbs.
• Forklift, Skid Steer, Front end loader experience preferred.
• Ability to work in varying weather and environmental conditions, including exposure to dust, extreme heat or cold.
• Ability to perform general housekeeping duties.
• Maintain safe working environment.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a team setting.
• Some weekends required in winter months.
• Familiarity with FSMA standards related to feed production preferred.
