Santa Cruz Seaside Company is hiring for an on-site kitchen role to prep and cook a variety of foods for Boardwalk locations. The position requires exceptional guest service, adherence to food safety, and the ability to work 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m., seven days a week including holidays.
You will handle deli items, turkey legs, salads and baked goods, maintaining FIFO, and delivering orders on time while wearing a company uniform and following safety rules.

Provides the highest level of Guest Service. Under supervision, bake, prepare and cook a variety of ready to serve food for Boardwalk restaurant locations. Maintain highest standards of food safety, consistency and quality. Clean and maintain work area and equipment.
This is a unique opportunity to join the Boardwalk's Events Team . This position must exemplify outstanding service to our Guest by owning the key Guest Service Principles : Smile, Welcome, Eye Contact, Lift the Experience, and Leave Them Well. Wears Company issued uniform. Wears black, slip resistance closed toed shoes. Wears Company issued goggles and gloves as needed. Ability to prepare food products in an efficient and timely manner in a high volume kitchen. Able to work a flexible schedule as business dictates such as weekends, nights, and holidays. Must obtain a CA Food Handler card within 30 days of hire, or show proof of existing CA Food Handler card. Wear company issued uniform. May not wear jewelry or false nails. Shifts fall between 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. 7 days a week including holidays. Must obtain a CA Food Handler card within 30 days of hire, or show proof of existing CA Food Handler card.

Some experience in commercial cooking and volume food preparation is desirable.
Able to stand and walk for up to 8 hours on hard surfaces.

Able to work in a loud environment, including kitchen equipement, timers, and verbal communication during peak service.
Able to distinguish colors, textures, and visual details needed for food quality, doneness, and presentation.
Able to work extended shifts, including overtime, as business needs require.
