Job summary

The Boeing Company in San Antonio, Texas is seeking a Production/Inventory Coordinator to support the SAMC back shop. You will route materials, perform inventory, and prepare items for shipment while adhering to safety rules.

This six-month contract requires forklift certification, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 20 lbs. Regular attendance and flexibility across shifts are expected; medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits are available.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience with warehouse inventory including parts accuracy and accountability.
  • Requires computer experience and competency.
  • Currently have or have the ability to obtain a forklift license.

Responsibilities

  • Route materials to prescribed storage location and follow storage procedures.
  • Conduct inventory of stored materials and report deterioration or damage.
  • Remove and issue material from storage and prepare it for shipment.
  • Operate safely while wearing required safety equipment.
  • Work across shifts with no hindrance from weather or location.
  • May order parts, tools, materials, and equipment as needed.
  • Comply with health, safety, tool control, and inventory rules.
  • Review production scheduling to ensure materials meet schedules.
  • Analyze and resolve issues to meet quality, schedules and budgets.
  • Perform other duties as directed to support the company and team.

Production/Inventory Coordinator

The Boeing Company is looking for a talented Production/Inventory Coordinator to join our MMO team in support of the SAMC back shop team in San Antonio, Texas.

Responsibilities
  • Routes materials to prescribed storage location in accordance with prescribed storage procedures.
  • Conducts inventory of stored materials and reports deterioration/damage.
  • Removes and issues material from storage and prepares it for shipment.
  • Able to perform assigned duties while wearing required safety equipment.
  • Able to perform assigned duties on all shifts without encumbrances due to weather or physical location and conditions.
  • May order parts, tools, materials, and equipment as required to perform assigned duties.
  • Responsible for complying with all rules and regulations concerning health and safety, tool control, FOD, contracts, facilities, housekeeping, inventory control and other pertinent coverage.
  • Reviews and analyzes production scheduling requirements to determine products, materials, and actions necessary to ensure the availability of sufficient materials and hardware to meet schedules.
  • Identifies, investigates, analyzes and determines best solutions and coordinates the resolution of problems to ensure adherence to quality standards, schedules and budgets for material costs.
  • At times may perform in-depth analysis of complex problems related to material requirement, inventories, schedules and configuration control.
  • Performs other duties as directed by supervision and management for the benefit of the company, program, and employee(s).
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
  • 1+ years of experience with warehouse inventory including parts accuracy and accountability.
  • Requires computer experience and competency.
  • Currently have or have the ability to obtain a forklift license.
Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs.

Attendance Requirement

Regular and predictable attendance is a requirement of this request.

Pay Rate Range

Min Pay Rate: $19/hour; Max Pay Rate: $23/hour (USD).
