Job summary

TekWissen Group in Overland Park, KS is seeking an experienced Incident Manager to lead the end-to-end production-incident lifecycle across critical applications and platforms. You will coordinate SRE, Operations, Development, Cloud, Security, and other resolver teams to restore services quickly and minimize impact.

The role emphasizes reducing MTTR, improving incident detection and communications, and driving post-incident reviews.

Qualifications

• Experience in Production Incident Management and Major Incident Management in production environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication during high-severity incidents.
• Proven ability to coordinate P1/P2 incidents across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive production incidents end-to-end, from detection through restoration and closure.
• Lead Major Incident Management for high-priority incidents with bridge initiation and resolver-team mobilization.
• Ensure incidents are detected, acknowledged, and triaged quickly based on impact and priority.
• Drive improvements in MTTD, MTTA, MTTR by reducing delays in monitoring, triage, and restoration.
• Coordinate with SRE, Application Ops, Development, Cloud, Infra, Network, DB, Security for complex issues.
• Provide timely incident communications covering business impact and status.
• Promote incident, problem, and change management practices across teams.
