Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking an HR Generalist to support day-to-day HR operations for a production workforce in Allentown, PA. The role covers recruiting, employee relations, benefits and leave administration, payroll coordination, and HR initiatives to drive workforce growth.

Responsibilities include full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, payroll inputs, workforce planning with production leaders, and handling employee relations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of progressive HR Generalist experience across multiple HR functions.
• Experience recruiting hourly and production staff, including sourcing and onboarding.
• Experience handling employee relations, policy interpretation, and workplace investigations.
• Experience collecting payroll inputs and supporting payroll processing.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting and onboarding for hourly and salaried employees.
• Lead recruiting efforts for hourly and production staff to meet operational needs.
• Coordinate payroll inputs and timekeeping, obtain approvals, support processing.
• Partner with operations to plan workforce needs and headcount changes.
• Serve as primary contact for employee relations and workplace issues.
• Support performance management, including reviews and coaching.
• Administer benefits programs and assist with questions and resolution.
• Support leave administration including FMLA and ADA accommodations.
• Maintain HRIS data integrity and accurate employee records.
• Convey HR policies to employees and leaders; communicate changes.
