Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Production Hardware Technician to move electronics from prototype to production. You will assemble components, solder, test, and repair high-reliability systems in a fast-paced lab.

You will work with engineering during prototyping, troubleshoot issues, and help establish manufacturing processes. A degree or cert and 3–6 years of aerospace electronics experience are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or tech cert in Electronics or related field.
  • 3–6 years in electronics assembly/production in aerospace/high reliability.
  • Ability to read schematics and technical drawings.
  • Experience building/wiring harnesses and assemblies.
  • Ability to obtain U.S. Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble components, circuit boards, harnesses, and final assemblies.
  • Perform precision soldering, crimping, and cable/wire harness work.
  • Functional test and inspect assemblies for quality.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and rework electronics as needed.
  • Support prototypes, builds, debugging, and process development.
  • Document test results, repairs, and production activities.
  • Assist with inventory, shipping, and receiving.
  • Help establish and improve manufacturing processes as first technician.
  • Maintain clean, safe lab environment.
