Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing environment.
• Experience working with a union environment is a plus.
• Previous leadership experience is a plus.
• Report outs to upper leadership.
• Meet metrics/goal setting.
• Problem solving skills are very important.
• Soft leadership skills and ability to guide a team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee effective use of personnel, material, and equipment.
• Train, develop, and evaluate hourly team members.
• Develop highly effective teams.
• Lead GMS processes and support launches and pilots.
• Meet production cost schedule and maintain quality requirements.
• Promote safe work practices and housekeeping.
• Motivate and develop employees for standardized methods.
• Ensure timely JIT training and lean production practices.
