Job summary

Charter Casting in Shawano, WI is hiring for a Grinding Operator on the night shift (6pm-4am, 10-hour days, Mon-Thu with overtime). The role involves grinding iron castings, operating grinders and robots, and recording production data.

A starting wage of $25.25 per hour and a $2,000 sign-on bonus are offered, with full benefits and advancement opportunities. We value safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 1 year prior experience in manufacturing, foundry, metals, or related field.

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Ability to push, pull, lift, and move up to 60 lbs.
• Basic math and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Grind iron castings to specifications.
• Operate power tools including robots and grinders.
• Perform wheel changes on equipment.
• Record data and complete paperwork.
• Prior machine shop experience is a plus.
