Job summary

Times Microwave Systems is seeking a Production Control Clerk to maintain the flow of product on the production floor and prepare work orders and shipping paperwork. This role requires strong MS Office and Oracle knowledge and close coordination with manufacturing staff.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or equivalent, experience in manufacturing, and excellent problem solving, communication, and attention to detail. Proficiency with Excel is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of MRP systems (Oracle preferred).
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent verbal, written and organization skills.
• Requires excellent attention to details.

Responsibilities

• Assign serial numbers to manufactured items and maintains database
• Creates and prints marker bands, MI packs, and barcodes per item Manufacturing instructions
• Assists in maintaining inventory accuracy of all material cable assembly finished goods including overbuilds
• Coordinate & request special markers with offsite vendor
• Prioritize & expedite rush orders per the production schedule
• Interface and assist the production staff with marker issues and replacements
• Maintains off-line tracking lists
• Close production work orders and transfer inventory to finished goods
• Restocks returned materials from customers
• Creates shipment packages for completed cable assembly jobs
• Fulfills material shortages to the floor from Kardex machine
• Perform all other duties as assigned
