Job summary

Micro-Coax, an Amphenol Company, seeks an entry-level Production Controller to support the daily flow of work across the Cable Assembly value stream. You will ensure production orders, materials, and documentation reach the correct work centers per dispatch priorities and keep schedules up to date with real-time status visibility.

You will help minimize downtime by maintaining supply to production cells, communicating changes to planning and materials, and supporting continuous improvement in

Qualifications

• Requires ability to read and follow production travelers and work instructions.
• Good written and verbal communication with strong grammar and clarity.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and stay organized.

Responsibilities

• Review daily dispatch list and production priorities.
• Deliver jobs, materials, and documentation to the correct work centers.
• Keep production cells supplied to minimize downtime.
• Update schedules and dispatch systems as work progresses.
• Monitor status and communicate priority changes to teams.
• Move WIP between operations according to production flow.
• Resolve material shortages and workflow issues with teams.
• Verify travelers and documentation accompany each order.
• Maintain accurate WIP locations and support inventory accuracy.
• Escalate delays or bottlenecks to supervision.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
