Job summary

Signode is seeking an Operations Expeditor to maintain the flow of materials, information, and work-in-progress across the manufacturing operation in Roselle, IL. Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Operations, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
• Experience: 3–5 years in supply chain or production.
• Familiar with the manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production schedules, order status, and workflow to ensure on-time completion.
• Identify bottlenecks and delays; take immediate action to resolve constraints.
• Expedite materials, parts, and information across departments.
• Coordinate with production, purchasing, logistics, and quality teams to maintain flow.
• Prioritize and adjust work orders based on urgency and operational needs.
• Communicate status updates, risks, and delays to key stakeholders.
• Track performance metrics such as on-time delivery and cycle time.
• Escalate critical issues impacting delivery or production timelines.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce recurring delays.
• Participate and report out at our daily Gemba.
• Coordinate and execute supplier RMAs.
• Coordinate operations secondary processes with shipping and supply chain.
