Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Production Associate for the Crater/Floater role on the 1st shift at our Orwigsburg, PA facility. The full-time position runs 6:00 AM–2:00 PM, Monday–Friday, with overtime possible based on production demands.

You will build wooden crates and shipping containers, prepare finished products for shipment, and safely measure, cut, and assemble materials using hand and power tools. The role requires reliability, teamwork, and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Manufacturing, warehouse, or construction experience is preferred but not required.
Ability to read a tape measure and follow work instructions.
Comfortable using hand and power tools.
Dependable with excellent attendance and a positive attitude.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Build and assemble wooden crates, pallets, and shipping containers.
Package and prepare finished products for shipment.
Measure, cut, and assemble materials using hand and power tools.
Verify product quantities and inspect finished products prior to packaging.
Move materials and finished products throughout the facility using proper lifting techniques or material handling equipment.
Float between departments as needed to assist with production, packaging, shipping, or other operational tasks.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Follow all company safety policies, quality standards, and work procedures.
Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
