Job summary

APEL Extrusions in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a full-time Production Worker to operate large industrial equipment in a clean, safety-focused facility and support finishing and fabrication processes.

You will read and follow work orders, wear PPE, and may operate a forklift. Prior manufacturing or warehouse experience is preferred. We offer comprehensive benefits and paid vacation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Manufacturing/Production/Warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and perform repetitive tasks.

Full Time Phoenix, AZ. APEL Extrusions is an independent extruder, finisher and fabricator of aluminum extrusions serving the commercial, residential, and industrial markets of Western Canada and the Western United States. With locations in Calgary, Canada, Coburg, Oregon, and Phoenix, Arizona.

Production Worker -

• Day Shift Finishing Helper
• Monday - Thursday *occasional mandatory overtime

General Duties And Responsibilities

• Work with large industrial equipment.
• Wear Personal Protective Equipment - ear plugs, safety glasses, and boots - at all times.

Skills

• High degree of independence and accountability - Good attendance is required.
• Detailed oriented individual able to frequently perform multiple tasks at a given time.
• Able to independently perform simple calculations.
• Communicate well and interact with others effectively.
• Working knowledge of extrusion press responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Manufacturing/Production/Warehouse experience preferred.

Working Environment

• Exposed to a production environment which includes noise, moving machinery, forklifts and fluctuations in temperature.
• Personal Protective Equipment provided.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent walking, standing, bending, twisting, repetitive motion and ability to lift, push, pull at least 25 pounds.
