Job summary

APEL Extrusions in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Graveyard Production Worker to support packing, material handling, and order fulfillment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include operating large industrial equipment, reading dimensional prints, using measuring devices, and operating a forklift when required.

You must wear PPE and follow all safety and quality policies, with attention to detail and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Manufacturing/Production/Warehouse experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Work with large industrial equipment.
• Wear Personal Protective Equipment - ear plugs, safety glasses, and boots - at all times.
• Comply with all policies and procedures in accordance with our quality management system.
• Review and follow work order instructions and best practice requirements.
• Adhere and promote all safety requirements.
• Read and understand dimensional prints.
• Operate measuring devices.
• Operate a forklift.

Job Title: Graveyard Production Worker

APEL Extrusions Location: Phoenix, AZ

Shift: Graveyard - Monday-Thursday 8pm-6am

APEL Extrusions, Inc. is an independent extruder, finisher and fabricator of aluminum extrusions, with six extrusion presses and a full array of finishing capabilities occupying over 600,000 square feet of modern manufacturing space employing approximately 300 people. With facilities in Calgary Canada, Coburg Oregon, and Phoenix Arizona, APEL serves the commercial, residential, and industrial markets of Western Canada and the Western United States.

Job Summary

Saw and Pack Helpers work to pack metal either at the press or to prepare orders for truck shipments. Material Handlers move material throughout the facility. All roles must work with operators and team leaders to ensure compliance with customer work orders and quality requirements.
