Job summary

APEL Extrusions is seeking a Production Worker for the Phoenix, AZ facility on a full-time basis. You will work with large industrial equipment, wear PPE, and follow our quality management procedures to maintain safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities include reading dimensional prints, operating measuring devices, and forklift operation while adhering to all safety rules. Prior manufacturing/production experience preferred; HS diploma or equivalent required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Manufacturing/Production/Warehouse experience preferred.

• Day Shift Finishing Helper
  • Monday - Thursday *occasional mandatory overtime

General Duties And Responsibilities

• Work with large industrial equipment.
• Wear Personal Protective Equipment - ear plugs, safety glasses, and boots - at all times.
• Comply with all policies and procedures in accordance with our quality management system
• Review and follow work order instructions and best practice requirements.
• Adhere and promote all safety requirements.
• Read and understand dimensional prints.
• Operate measuring devices.
• Operate a forklift.

Skills

• High degree of independence and accountability - Good attendance is required.
• Detailed oriented individual able to frequently perform multiple tasks at a given time.
• Able to independently perform simple calculations.
• Communicate well and interact with others effectively.
• Working knowledge of extrusion press responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Manufacturing/Production/Warehouse experience perferred.

Working Environment

• Exposed to a production environment which includes noise, moving machinery, forklifts and fluctuations in temperature.
• Personal Protective Equipment provided.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent walking, standing, bending, twisting, repetitive motion and ability to lift, push, pull at least 25 pounds.
