APEL Extrusions Ltd in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Production Finishing Anodize Helper to assist on the finishing line. You will work with large industrial equipment, adhere to safety rules, read work orders, and operate a forklift as needed.

This full-time day-shift role offers a clean, safe work environment with benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401k, paid vacation and holidays. High school diploma or equivalent required; manufacturing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Manufacturing/Production/Warehouse experience preferred.
• Exposed to a production environment which includes noise, moving machinery, forklifts and fluctuations in temperature.
• Personal Protective Equipment provided.

APEL Extrusions is an independent extruder, finisher and fabricator of aluminum extrusions serving the commercial, residential, and industrial markets of Western Canada and the Western United States. With locations in Calgary, Canada, Coburg, Oregon, and Phoenix, Arizona.

• Day Shift Finishing Helper
  • Monday - Thursday *occasional mandatory overtime

General Duties and responsibilities

• Work with large industrial equipment.
• Wear Personal Protective Equipment - ear plugs, safety glasses, and boots - at all times.
• Comply with all policies and procedures in accordance with our quality management system
• Review and follow work order instructions and best practice requirements.
• Adhere and promote all safety requirements.
• Read and understand dimensional prints.
• Operate a forklift.

Skills

• High degree of independence and accountability - Good attendance is required.
