Job summary

Broadridge Financial Solutions, Inc. is hiring an Associate Production Equipment Technician in Edgewood, NY. You will maintain production equipment, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and troubleshoot issues to maximize availability.

The role involves logging calls, installing wiring and controls, relocating equipment, and tracking parts usage. You’ll mentor junior technicians and ensure OSHA/EPA compliant records and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and/or technical/vocational education.
• Vendor/equipment repair certification for at least one insertion platform (e.g., Blue Crest, Bowe, Buhrs).
• 3 years’ experience in a production environment with knowledge of equipment repair.
• Good oral and written communication skills; able to follow directions under time constraints.
• Ability to stand for the shift and lift 25+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance and troubleshoot equipment problems.
• Log all support calls in the technician tracking system to account for work time and parts.
• Install electrical wiring and controls for production equipment; repair computer hardware.
• Relocate equipment and assist with installation of new equipment as required.
• Track parts usage and provide input on inventory levels.
• Contribute to team morale and support leadership with junior technicians’ performance.
• Ensure maintenance records comply with OSHA/EPA requirements and safety procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
