Job summary
Broadridge Financial Solutions in Edgewood, NY seeks an Associate Production Equipment Technician to maintain and repair production equipment, including archival storage hardware. You will respond to technical calls, log activities, and assist with installation and parts tracking while supporting a team-focused environment.
The role requires a high school diploma (tech/vocational preferred), 3 years in production maintenance, and strong safety and communication skills.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational training preferred.
- Vendor/equipment repair certification for at least one insertion platform is a plus.
- 3 years’ production environment experience with equipment repair.
- Proven proficiency in operation and repair of high-speed production equipment.
- Good oral and written communication and ability to work under time constraints.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
- Respond to Technical Support calls promptly to resolve issues.
- Log all support calls in the technician tracking system.
- Install electrical wiring and controls for production equipment.
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair computer hardware related to production equipment.
- Relocate equipment and assist installation of new equipment.
- Track parts usage and advise on inventory levels.
