Broadridge Financial Solutions in Deer Park, NY is seeking a Production Equipment Technician to maintain production equipment, perform preventative and corrective maintenance, and troubleshoot complex issues to keep lines running smoothly. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 3 years in a production environment, and good communication.

Candidates with vendor certifications for Broadridge insertion platforms are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and/or technical/vocational education.
• Preferrable to have vendor/equipment repair certification for at least one of Broadridge’s insertion platforms (e.g., Blue Crest, Bowe, Buhrs, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance as well as troubleshoot equipment problems.
• Respond to Technical Support calls in a prompt manner to ensure timely resolution.
• Log all support calls into technician tracking system to ensure work time and parts are accounted for.
• Install electrical wiring and controls for production equipment; install, troubleshoot and repair computer hardware related to production equipment.
• Relocate production equipment and support installation of new equipment as required by management.
• Track parts usage and provide input to management on inventory levels.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA maintenance records and safety procedures.
