Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Technician I, Product Test & Calibration to set-up, maintain, operate, test and inspect product and perform repairs on equipment in accordance with finished product specifications. The role aims to minimize scrap and promote workplace safety while providing process information to management to optimize production equipment.

Qualifications

• 0-1 years of experience preferred.
• High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sets up production machines and ancillary equipment according to procedures and product specifications.
• Monitors machinery and goals during shift and adjust as necessary.
• Diagnoses and troubleshoots equipment malfunction arrange or complete repairs.
• Performs preventive maintenance as assigned by supervisor according to the Preventive Maintenance schedule.
• Completes documentation related to the finished product according to established guidelines.
• Interprets data and confer with management to determine required standards.
• Selects products for inspection evaluation at specified stages in production process, performs various inspections per required characteristics.
• Transports hazardous waste to required areas. Complete annual refresher trainings.
