Job summary

Cardinal Health is hiring for a Technician I, Product Test & Calibration to set up, maintain, operate, test and inspect production equipment in line with finished product specs. You will minimize scrap, promote safety, and provide process data to management to optimize production.

The role runs 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with responsibilities spanning troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, documentation, and adherence to SOPs to ensure quality results.

Qualifications

• Applies basic skills and techniques to complete routine tasks within assigned area.
• Maintains appropriate licenses, training and certifications.
• Works on basic and routine assignments.
• Adheres to all quality guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Sets up various production machines and ancillary equipment according to procedures and product specifications.
• Monitors machinery and goals during shift and adjust as necessary.
• Diagnoses and troubleshoots equipment malfunction arrange or complete repairs.
• Performs preventive maintenance as assigned by supervisor according to the Preventive Maintenance schedule.
• Completes documentation related to the finished product according to established guidelines.
• Interprets data and confer with management to determine required standards.
• Selects products for inspection evaluation at specified stages in production process, performs various inspections per required characteristics.
• Transports hazardous waste to required areas.
• Complete annual refresher trainings.
